Problem mit "install.tar" bei Installation

Hallo,

da meine alte Firewall nur ca. 100 Mbit/s ins Lan bringen konnte, versuche ich gerade die UTM 9.7 auf einem anderen Rechner zu installieren.

Der Rechner hat 1 Gigabit Lan on Board. 2 PCI Slots sind mit 1Gigabit Karten bestückt. Karten werden alle erkannt.

eth0 = onboard
eth1 = PCI -> intern
eth2 = PCI -> extern

Bei der Installation von der DVD tritt ein Problem auf:

beim "Formatting (Step 2/6)"
"87%"
bei oder nach "Formatting Temp Partition ..."

"install.tar wasn't found on the installation media".

Es ist nur 1 HDD (SDA) angeschlossen.

Hierzu habe ich bisher nur Hinweise gefunden, wenn vom USB Stick installiert wurde.den  

Von der DVD hatte ich auch anderen Rechner installiert, ohne Problem.

Hat jemand eine Idee?

    Hallo Philipp Rusch,

    vielen Dank für den Hinweis. Ich wollte jedoch nicht vom USB-Stick, sondern von dem internen DVD-Laufwerk im Rechner installieren.

    Dennoch habe ich mal die Tipps nachgemacht, hat aber leider nicht funktioniert.

    Vor der Partitionierung "Alt+F2", dann in der Bash:

    mount /dev/sda1 /install

    "Alt+F1" und die Partitionierung gestartet. Es kam sofort die Fehlermeldung: Failed to partition device /dev/sda

    Neuer Versuch nach Neustart mit:

    mount /dev/sda /install

    mount: mounting /dev/sda on /install failed: invalid argument

    sfdisk -l gab dann /dev/sda1 bis /dev/sda4 aus


    Bislang bleibe ich mi der Installation bei

    "install.tar wasn't found on the installation media"

    hängen.

    Habe soetwas noch nicht erlebt bei den ganzen Installationen von der DVD.



    Habe jetzt mal mit GPartet alle Fragmente auf der HDD gelöscht und eine Partition mit ext4 angelegt.

    Hat jemand eine erhellende Idee, wie ich die Installation hinkriege? von internem DVD?

    jetzt im neuen Versuch ist Installation sauber durchgelaufen.

    Aber auch jetzt liefert der Test bei wieistmeineip.de nur ca. 97 Mbit/s. Im Vorfeld wurde jede Schnittstelle mit Knoppix direkt am Router mit ca. 220 Mbit/s getestet.

    Da gibt es noch Optimierungsbedarf.

    Good job on solving your installation problem!

    You say you're still having throughput issues.  What processor are you using - GHz and cores?  How much RAM?
