Netzwerkarten tauschen

Hallo noch einmal.

Die Firewall (Astaro 9.705-3) hat noch alte Netzwerkkarten (100Mbit) eingebaut. Kann ich die im ausgeschalteten Zustand gegen 1Gbit Karten tauschen, oder muß ich Rechner neu aufsetzen? Ich vermute eine Neuinstallation.

Ich habe jetzt noch keinen Link zum Software Download gefunden.

    (Sorry, my German-speaking brain isn't creating thoughts at the moment.)

    I like to limit access in general, but I like your idea, Dirk, about temporarily changing to "Any" when re-doing a hardware configuration - very creative!

    I've usually had to backup, re-image and restore when changing a NIC because the installation only loads drivers for devices it "sees" in the box.  Sounds like Dirk's also schlau enough to use newer models of the same NIC. Wink
