DynDNS aktualisiert sich nicht mehr

Hallo!

Heute haben wir bemerkt, dass sich die DynDNS-Komponente in unserer Sophos UTM nicht mehr bei dyndns aktualisiert.

Meldung:

DynDNS-Status ist: No update has been attempted. (Tue Sep 29 10:50:13 2020)

Wir haben die Firmware-Version 9.705-3. Leider weiß ich nicht mehr genau seit wann, aber das könnte vom Installationszeitpunkt her hinkommen (28./29.9.2020)

Daher behaupte ich mal es liegt möglicherweise daran.

Wie kann ich da sichergehen?

    Das Problem ist gelöst. Ein Kollege hat bei der Neuinstallation des DynUpdater auf einem anderen Serversystem die Hostadresse unseres Anschlusses mit angehakt und somit hatte unsere Hostadresse dann die falsche IP zugeordnet. Für die UTM war alles ok, da es keine IP-Adressänderung gab. Also nehme ich an, dass das Dyn-Update weiterhn funktioniert.

    How does your DNS configuration differ from DNS best practice?  Sometimes, using Google DNS instead of OpenDNS causes problems with DynDNS updating.
