Wetransfer Upload sperren / Sophos SG330

Hallo Community,

ich bin "neu" auf diesem Gebiet und bin gerade damit beauftragt worden, auf unserer Sophos "nur" den Upload auf WeTransfer zu sperren.

Download sollte noch möglich sein.

Wie handle ich das auf der Sophos ? Geht dies überhaupt ?

Guten Tag Frank,

ich befürchte lediglich den Upload zu sperren ist nicht möglich. Den Service als ganzen würde man via Application Control sperren.

(Sorry, my German-speaking brain isn't creating thoughts at the moment. [:(])

I've never touched a Sonicwall, so I may not have followed the details in my cursory reading of that KB. Near the end, the selection is to block traffic in both directions, and that's what the UTM can do, as Alex said. Near the top, there seemed to be a selection of an HTTP put message, and that's not something that can be done with the UTM.

thx for your reply.

Now we have to close WeTransfer in both direction (Up/Download).

Can you tell me: is it prossible to check how much traffic and how often we will got the the page WeTransfer ?

In the logfiles you should be able to find out how many connections go to wetransfer (given that you use webfiltering).

I'm not sure whether you can easily find exact MB's transferred, but you can at least find which client transferred how many packets (see image).
