Variablendefinition IMG_SOPHOS_LOGO

Hallo zusammen,

http://www.sophos.com/security/sophoslabs/spx.html

Uli

  • Hi

Do you want to change the template? I am not able to understand the requirement behind knowing the location of the IMG_SOPHOS_LOGO variable.

  • Hello Jaydeep,

sorry for the delay in my answer but in the current situation I was unable to answer earlier. Other things had to be priorized. As previously written my colleague has changed the templates for the SPX-encryption pages that users are seeing. In my understanding he was changing deep under the surface in the templates of the UTM to achieve his desired customized design.

In the templates he changed the Sophos Logo and replaced it by our company logo. Now the problem is that it seems there is a hidden HTML-link connected to that logo. If users now point with their mouse over the company logo the underlying link to www.sophos.com is shown as target and not to our organization-homepage. My colleague looked again in the templates that he changed and the only things he found in the corresponding area was this variable IMG_SOPHOS_LOGO. So he believes the embedded link is defined via this variable and can be changed somehow there.

Mostly every admin on this planet is trying to tell his users that they should be cautious when clicking embedded links or sensitize themselves to classify mails or websites for phishing or malicious links. They are now presented with exactly such an example: our company logo that is linked to a third party website they do not know...

I hope this clarifies my demand.

Thanks for your help and Bye
