UTM zu UTM RED Verbindung hat zu geringen Durchsatz

Hallo,

 Ich habe zwei UTM über eine EtherConnect 1Gbit Leitung verbunden. Mit einer RED50 war der Durchsatz bei etwa 250Mbit. Nun steht am zweiten Standort eine 330r2, aber ich komme nicht über 550Mbit. Die Verbindung läuft auf einer 430r1 auf. Dort laufen noch andere RED und Site2Site-VPNs. Kann ich auf der CLI irgendwo den aktuellen VPN Throughput sehen? Wie kann ich das Bottleneck noch finden? Langsam gehen mir die Ideen aus.

    Hallo Sebastian,

    (Sorry, my German-speaking brain isn't creating thoughts at the moment. [:(])

    I suspect that you need to make Intrusion Prevention Exception so that the traffic between the two sites isn't scanned by SNORT (it is single-threaded).  Are your tests then faster?  Also, since the CPUs in the 330 & 430 are quad core, you will want to try with four simultaneous tests before disabling SNORT between the sites just to see if you get a different measure.

    Vielen Dank für den Beitrag. Es ist definitiv der IPS. Wir haben zwar Exeptions, aber hier wohl ein Verständnisproblem. Nachdem wir den IPS mal kurz deaktiviert haben, wurden sowohl Proxy-Speed als auch die VPN-Verbindung wesentlich schneller. Jetzt müssen wir das Problem finden.
