UTM Email Protection ohne internen Mailserver

Hallo,

  • Hallo Ric,

(Sorry, my German-speaking brain isn't creating thoughts at the moment.  )

How much you can accomplish depends on the provider.  Basic Exchange setup with SMTP Proxy can also be done with an externally-hosted mail server that you control.  In your situation, you probably can only use the Proxy for inbound email, but if the provider can designate your UTM as a smart host, you can use the Proxy for outbound mail.  In any case, if you do use the SMTP Proxy, you will want to have the provider disable all anti-spam for your account.

If the SMTP Proxy is not practical for your use, you can certainly use the POP3 Proxy.
