UTM220 - Upgrade to SG230 number of ports

Hi.

I got an 2xUTM220 which we plan to upgrade to 2xSG230 (HA cluster)

We currently only use 6 ports on the UTM220. The remaining ETH6 and ETH 7 are unused on UTM220.

Question

1. I understand we just need to backup and restore the configuration unto the newer SG230. Did I get this right ?

2. Since, I have only use 6 ports on the UTM220 and SG230 has only 6 ports there should be no problem ?

3. Are all six ports on the SG230 usable right, I'm gonna use eth3 for HA and all other ports we be used as well?

4. I read the datasheet for SG 230 it states  "6 x GE copper – fixed Incl. 2 bypass pairs", what does 2 bypass pairs mean ? I need to be able to use all six interfaces on the SG230, are there any shared ports ? I would appreciate any explanation.

5. When we connect Eth3/HA, do we connect directly to the other appliance ? Can we use a straight thru patch cord ?

Thanks,

Paul
