Reset WebAdmin Password from Console

Hello,

I need to gain access to a SG125 but without deleting the settings.

So I hooked up a Monitor and Keyboard and wanted to reset the passwords as usual. I could reset the passwords for root and loginuser, but the UTM won't let me for the WebAdmin "admin" user.

When I login as root and enter "system_password_reset" in CC I get a "result: 1", so everything looks good. But when I open the WebAdmin in my browser where I should be able to set a new password I still get the login form. I tried this over 10 times, but it didn't work. Did the password reset procedure change?

And additionally I discovered that you have to be fast to login with the new root password. When I reset the passwords and reboot the UTM, I have to login as fast as possible. When I wait a minute after bootup, login is not possible. I think that the passwords are reset again to the old values when loading the configuration. I this the desired behaviour?

Thanks in advance,

Dino

Set the admin password to qwerty12345 with:
