Updating to 9.506 - Broke HA cluster

Hi all,

On Friday I patched our Sophos UTM cluster to 9.506 and found that the cluster is broken unless the passive node is switched off. The VM's are on the same ESX host and I have checked that they both have Virtual mac setting set to 0. Has anyone noticed this also and have a work around?

Cheers

Anthony

  • I'm having a similar issue running 9.506-2 on Hyper-V,  the slave node drops off and when you try to add it again it comes up as MASTER / MASTER and not MASTER /SLAVE when set to Active/Passive mode, again with each node on a different Hyper-V platform.  It's logged with Sophos, and they are looking at now, ive not yet mentioned the forum posts as only just seen them so will ask if this is a known issue.   Interesting enough, a site we have with a Physical UTM on this version is ok (so far)

    Thanks, Duncan
