Setting up DNS pool - multiple ip's for a single FQDN host resolution

Using DNS services provided by UTM 9.x.

I need to override resolution provided by upstream dns servers.

Trying to set up a pool of ip's that point to a single hostname (ie domain.com). 

How do I do this?  Host configuration only allows a single IP to be used. 

Say I want domain.com to resolve to 1.1.1.1, 2.2.2.2, 3.3.3.3, etc.

  • You could use the load balancing function at Network Protection>>Server Load Balancing

    It does not do EXACTLY what you want, though I think you could set it up that way.

    So, for instance, you could have  a listener on a VIP of 10.10.10.10 that load balances to 1.1.1.1, 2.2.2.2 and 3.3.3.3. You would then just point your DNS to the VIP and you would be in business.
