Can the DHCP server on the UTM be setup similar to a windows DHCP server?
We currently have 50 sites with Cisco routers and for the guess network, we lease the ip's directly from the router itself. This makes it easy to put an ACL on the router which doesn't touch our corp network where our 2 DHCP servers sit.
So I was thinking about putting a central DHCP server for the guest as this make it more manageable as all the leases would be in one place. It's always worth bearing in mind that the there's no point being on the guest network without the UTM being up as the guest is purely used for the internet.
So I was looking for a setup similar to our corp network in which we utilised the ip helper-address on the Cisco's and the DHCP lease came from the UTM. Problem is, it has to serve 50 subnets. I could see a way of entering this into the UTM as it complained about the DHCP server not being on the same subnet as the interface.
Any ideas or would I have to place a windows DHCP server on a subnet and go from there?
