UTM 9.5xx-4 under update definitions not updating

I just loaded clean UTM  and updated to 9.5xx-4 (not running it now and forgot the full version) The firmware seems to have updated just fine. But my Definitions are stuck at 0. I tried to update manually, but that never updated. Under manual update setting it shows the definition value is 131066. It never updates to that. I set it to auto update check every 15 minutes and 6 hours later my definition value was still at zero and not 131066. When set to auto update, iit reports back it is up to date, yet I am still at a value of Zero.  As of this date or there abouts, what firmware version should I be current with and what is the definition number to be, is all was working for me?

Ideas or suggestions to try?  only configuration running is firewall, it is green and all others are red / not configured. Very basic fresh clean install.

Nat Masq. configured.  DHCP configured

Internal network   DNS to any

IN  e-mail messaging to any

IN websurfing to any

IN instant messaging to any

IN terminal Applications to any are my firewall rules.

I can do skype, web, e-mail, all just fine.

I am slowly building up / locking down my network, setting one thing at a time and testing.

  • I reloaded the system clean from install cd, loaded in my config file and updated to firmware 9.503 and it updated patterns to 131277, so looks like all is up and working. Now to begin to lock things down.

Reload clean and restore your config file seems to have fixed things for me.
