Cert management: "The X509 certificate with private key object with the name 'Local X509 Cert (regenerated)' already exists."

When trying to recreate VPN signing CA I gets this error "The X509 certificate with private key object with the name 'Local X509 Cert (regenerated)' already exists."

Before doing this I have deleted the old VPN signing VA. Is it possible to hunt down which cert is the problem and also delete it if it is not shown in the web gui?

  • Erik, it's not the CA, it's the cert with the name 'Local X509 Cert (regenerated)'.  I would start by restoring the config backup and then not deleting anything until you've created the new CA.
