Remote Access - SSL

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone could help out on this strange (or at least to me) issue I'm having.

As the subject suggests I want remote access via VPN to my internal network from any external IP

I have set up the Profile in the SSL under Remote access, Defined the VLAN of which that user will be able to access as a network and linked it to the user within user & Groups of which I created as well specifically for the VPN access.

Server settings: interface any

Protocol: Any

Port: 443

Virtual IP Pool - I have selected the Virtual pool the SSL itself created, Is this where It is incorrect? ( I don't understand this very well, to be honest)

UserPortal has been set to 0.0.0.0/0

All portal items are enabled to show (as in unticked)

I am able to ping the public IP of the office however connection is refused, I treid https and http for safe measure.

Any ideas please?

Thank you

  • Hi ETO,

Do you have firewall rule defined for VPN (Network Pool) > Any > Internal VLAN? The UTM is ping visible if defined in Network Protection | Firewall | ICMP tab.

    Thanks

    Hello Sachingurung,

Thank you for your reply, I am able to ping the Public IP so that is no problem on that side, When I input the public IP on my browser it says connection refused.

I did not have that setting actually, however, it still did not work
