Hi All.
I have a SG135w UTM9 appliance that has been working very happily since I installed it around a year ago. I was on leave the week of the 19th June and then when I came back on the 26th June I noticed the internet was a bit slower than normal. A load of speed tests later I noticed that the upload is very slow or a get a socket errors as it fails completely. I have tried switching cables to try and isolate the problem. I have 2 subnets (on for LAN and one for Wifi) that all end up at the Sophos appliance and then exit via the WAN port.
I have had the ISP test the line and even just had a engineer onsite to test the line from the building and everything comes up working fine.
So its looking like it the Sophos unit that may be throttling/restricting the upload somehow. Does anyone know how I can check this? I know its not someone on the network eating the bandwidth as the appliance shows minimal in and out traffic on the dashboard.
Nothing configuration wise would have changed while I was away as I am the only person who is allowed and capable of doing that.
Can anyone let me know what sort of things I need to check. I have been wondering if there was a firmware update that had might of breaking something.
Help...
Cheers....
