Problem with the licences of my Sohpos UTM 9 home

Hello,

since two days I have a problem with the licences of my Sohpos UTM 9 home.
Suddenly I got the message that I would have much more IPs in use than my license would allow. I've looked up, and actually 266 active IP addresses are displayed. But I'm also using only 30 devices with IP addresses.

I didn't change something the day before, and I didn't have that much devices in my network temporarely.

In arp table there are 35 entries, from which 5 are incomplete.

Little help would be very nice :-).

Best regards

Michael

  • HI all,

    Experiencing exact same problem here.

It started with this behavior 11.06.2017, running version 9.413-4 at that time.
Upgraded to 9.501-5 yesterday, but it issued me a warning last night also.

Looking at the ip information the UTM sends me, it looks like it is my vlan with its own subnet assigned to wifi devices that is going bananas, most ip’s captured in one day yet; is 19 ipv4 and 33 ipv6, and this simply not normal. Either I have a lot of “free riders” or there have to be some DHCP miss configuration, probably DHCPv6.

Will try to look into this some more.
