sophos utm and dmz plus mode on PAEC 5268AC

Trying to setup sophos utm on a home uverse connection with the PAEC 5268AC. When I go to setup dmx plus mode the modem gives me an error that says..

The selected device has a static IP address. DMZplus requires that the selected device use DHCP to obtain its IP address

The wird thing is that the external nic is pulling a dhcp address from the paec modem so im not suree why it thinks its a static ip.

Thoughts?

Make sure to set your UTM eth1 WAN to Dynamic IP and Renew it, be aware there are numerous security issues with the firmware on this hunk of junk...

2.4GHz WPS won't disable, 5GHz reenables itself on reboots, 5GHz beacon won't disable, DMZ+ opens port 10, DMZ+ disables ping blocking.

I am currently struggling with locking mine down and until I can stealth pings I'm keeping DMZ+ disabled. You can toggle back and forth and access 5268ac as you play with it by renewing IP on your UTM WAN each time you change modes.
