Only 1 node in System status of High Availability

Hi!,

I'have two VM appliance 9.409-9 in HA. From the "status" I see Master active and Slave ready, ok. From the "system status" I see only the master node.. In logging & reporting --> hardware the slave node report 0 usage... I have the same situation in other 2 appliance in HA but I have 2 node in system status and the secondary node in hardware show activity.. any idea?

  • Hi, and welcome to the UTM Community!

If the VMs are in the same physical server, MrGoodBytes gave a prescription here three years ago:

How to resolve issues with Virtual UTMs configured for High Availability:
     1. Login to the UTM console as root.
     2. Enter the following command to determine if HA virtual_mac is enabled:
                cc get ha advanced virtual_mac
     3. If the output is 1, you can disable it by entering the following:
cc set ha advanced virtual_mac 0
     4. Restart all virtual UTMs.

    Cheers - Bob

  • Hi Bob, after cc set ha advanced virtual_mac 0, reboot, I have 1 on the output cc set ha advanced virtual_mac.. very strange..

edit: now it's ok,  command cc set ha advanced virtual_mac 0 muts be set without HA active, after reboot i have reconfigure ha an now all works fine, thanks!
