Insert/Overstrike key does not work in HTML5 RDP

My testing indicates that the insert key, which is supposed to toggle between insert and overstrike modes, does not work in the HTML5 viewer window.   There is a pull-down menu for sending special keys, including the insert key, but this did not work either.   Support says that this is a feature request.   I argued that it is a bug, but I did not get any sympathy.   So could someone put it on the "feature request" list.

    I just retested on Windows 10 using EDGE, IE 11, CHROME, and FIREFOX.   All misbehaved consistently -  I could not get into overstrike mode using either the Insert key on my keyboard or the Insert key menu function.

    It was support case 697771 if you have access to their history.   I think he said he was able to reproduce the problem, but I may be hallucinating because that is not in the email transcript.

    No testing attempted on Apple products.

    Just for completeness, I tested on my wife's IPAD2 using Safari, although that hardware platform seems to be archaic technology now.  

    The viewer window opened to the PC login page, but I could not reliably type into the remote PC's login screen.  

    The application did not seem to understand that the password field was a data entry box, so the soft keyboard did not appear automatically when I clicked in the password field.  

    I was able to use the viewer window option to open the mobile keyboard, but the mobile keyboard hid the password box (when in landscape mode) and the keystrokes appeared only occasionally, and never consistently enough to log in successfully.   Since I never got logged in, I did not attempt to exercise the insert key.  So there might be some issues with mobile platforms in addition to the INS key problem.
