SSL Remote Access Timers parameters

Hi, we are using utm sophos model asg525 and we need to set timers parameters to SSL remote sessions, the only settings that i can see is under Remote Access > SSL > Advanced > Key Life Time, simple question, is this option to set the maximun duration of a ssl session? for example if is set to 24 hours(86400 secs) means that after 24 hours connected the session will be ended?

another thing that we have to do is to set a session time out after inactivity, for example after 30 min of inactivy the client auto disconnect. theres a way to do that?

Thank you for your time and will. So sorry for my english

Best regards,

  • Hi, Alvaro, and welcome to the UTM Community!

The 'Key lifetime' is the time after which a new encryption key is calculated.

It's possible to do what you want with OpenVPN, but there are no settings in WebAdmin.  Sophos Support might authorize changes to the client and server config files from the command line.

    Cheers - Bob
PS Your English is fine, by the way.  Yes there are some minor grammatical errors, but your prose is very clear and understandable.
