Web Protection - nytimes.com

Hi guys, I have many Sophos UTM (latest firmware) that report in Web Protection tab a lot of traffic to nytimes.com , but I'm sure no one is really looking at this website.

Today a customer with 5 users is showing 22 GB of traffic to nytimes.com, that is really strange. Could be a bug in Sophos Web Protection calculations? Anyone experiencing this issue?

One addition: in Logging and Reporting --> Web protection I can't find anything for nytimes.com

Hello,

I have the same issue, with also Ms Office 365 with quite the same traffic.

Can anyone assist us on this?

The Office 365 traffic in my case is generated by Veeam Backup for Office 365, but really don't know about nytimes.com

I'm in Office 365 (full) but I haven't any backup on Veeam for this.

But I still have this

MS Office 365 10.6 GB 11.71
Nytimes.com 10.5 GB 11.59

Same here:

Nytimes.com 32,1 GB

MS Office 365 31,9 GB

It's from my Home UTM where there's not a lot of O365 traffic at all and definitely no one using Nytimes.com since we live in Europe and not as much interested in what Nytimes has to say.

Have you tried searching the log files for presence or absence of supporting details? Logging & Reporting... View Log Files... Search Log Files...

Is the statistic based on top URLs, not top application? One would think it would be easy for them to count URLs correctly, but anything is possible.
