Hi all,
I've migrated my bare metal Sophos UTM 9.4 to a VMware hosted VM. Everything works great and as the host is much more powerful than my former platform, its way faster.
Although, since then i'm facing an issue with my logs archiving. Connectivity is there, if i'm launching the test CLI command, the .txt file is correctly uploaded.(logarchiver.plx -t -d 15)
But, it's crazy slowwww which makes the process to fail uploads at some point in time.
here are a few troubleshooting steps i've tried:
/usr/sbin/logrotate -v /etc/logrotate.conf
...
/root # logarchiver.plx
...
.../tmp/logfiles-2017-01-03.tgz: ETA: 12:38 0.12/ 8.73 MB 11.62 kB/s -
And it continuously drop in terms of kB/s going to bytes per seconds:
.../tmp/logfiles-2017-01-03.tgz: ETA: 437:14 0.12/ 8.73 MB 343.77 B/s ==
I've tried as well to setup another FTP server on another host to see if the issue was at the target system but the results are the same. I've also tried to switch to CIFS with the same results.
Is there something i'm missing here? also, the source and target system are on the same LAN segment so there is no firewall rules for that traffic.
Thanks,
Regards,
M.
