Dropbox: KB 125491 - UTM: Decrypt and scan causes some applications to fail authentication

As described in KB 125491 I created an exception to skip SSL scanning for dropbox. Didn't work. I had to skip authentication too. Then dropbox was working.

Anybody sharing this experience?

Setup is Proxy in standard mode with authentication against AD.

    Hi, Alex, and welcome to the UTM Community!

    Thanks for your question.  I have always skipped everything for Dropbox, but, now that you make me think of it, I've re-enabled SSL Scanning and AntiVirus.  There are now too many people that send links to their Dropbox.  A quick test shows that everything still works correctly, so I'll email this recommendation to my client base.

    thanks. To clarify I use the Dropbox Windows App. It's working for you as you re-enabled SSL Scanning?

    Yes, it works fine, Alex.  Here's a line from the Web Filtering log:
