UTM 9 not working after reboot

Hi,

I have Sophos UTM 9 Home license. And when I reboot it not works anymore except for ping to the fiirewall and the user portal. I can't log on to the management interface and routing is not working anymore. I can log on to the console with root and tried to restart https and webmin and then even ping stopped working. I've reinstalled it with 9.407-3.1 and set it up as new (no restore). Everything was working until I restarted it and I had the issue again. I never had this issue before and it was running fine for a couple of years. This problem started a few months ago and I had to reinstall it 3 times already. Every time I restored the config from a backup. I thought that maybe there was something wrong with the backup so I tried a clean install but it's the same.

Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this?

  • Just a WAG, Davy - try an install with a new hard drive after burning a new DVD from ISO at 4x or less.  ANy luck with that?
