When connected to the internet via LAN cable, The Sophos UTM 9 is blocking all websites on Windows 10 machines but works fine on all other versions of Windows OS. Any ideas? The system is running an SG 310 as well.

The title pretty much states it all but i will go into a little more detail here. When connecting a LAN cable directly from the switch to a windows 10 machine, the UTM software is blocking all websites and the UTM Web protection blocked window presents every time. The same lan cable plugged into a windows 7, 8, or 8.1 machine works flawlessly. When the same windows 10 machines connect via wi-fi and not a LAN cable the web traffic is not filtered. The system is running an sg310 external firewall if that means anything to the problem. Any help would be appreciated!

  • Hi Mathew.

To try to help you we need to know how your Web Protection is configured: transparent mode, standard mode, authentication mode, etc, and if you using profiles. A screenshot goes a long way.

Also, are your Wifi and LAN on the same subnet or are hey different interfaces on UTM?

Some logs from the Web Protection from a working machine and from the not working Windows 10 would also be nice.
