Slow upstream with everything disabled...

I've recently found that I'm losing >5Mbps on my upload with UTM 9 in play. I have IPS, AV, AS, ATP, etc disabled.

This is running on a HyperV server. Plenty of proc and RAM allocated. (I've tested everywhere from 3x2.8Ghz & 3GB to 8x2.8Ghz & 8Gb). I've eliminated all other devices on the network including switches. I've eliminated possible cable issues with replacement. I modified my MTU with various settings, but the Comcast modem seems to be insisting on 576 as it wipes out my manual setting each time I manipulate it. My HV server has been checked for recent updates. Nothing relevant to the window of my issue.

Given that my upstream pipe maxes out at about 12Mbps, being cut down to around 5Mbps is noticeable.

I rebuild the VM hosting this and restored my config... same scenario.

$50 Netgear in its place and I'm back to getting 12Mbps.

Thoughts?

I switched to physical hardware (a PC, slower than my HV Server). I went from 140Mbps to 95Mbps on my downstream, but my upstream went from 5 to 12. This makes me think it's either a setting in my other config (this was another independently built config), or something in HV.

Any thoughts are welcome.

It's the WAN MTU. The physical instance of UTM isn't being set to 576 by the modem. The virtual is. It overwrites whatever I set it to as 576.

Ideas to get it to hold 1500 or other setting?
