Running UTM DHCP server with DHCP relay (ip helper)

I am trying to configure something on network which also requires the DHCP request packet.  This is working fine when it is on the same network as it can see the dhcp request broadcast however I also have another interface which is on separate VLAN and this device is not able to see the packet.

The solution is to setup ip helper i.e. relay in Sophos terms, however I am having an issue as I also run the inbuilt UTM DHCP server hence I cant enable relay until I disable Sophos DHCP server.

I believe this might not be possible with GUI can someone suggest some CLI commands where I can specify 2 DHCP servers for the VLAN?

    The relay functionality is to allow one, or all, Sophos subnets the ability to be served by an external DHCP server.  For example, I run UTM as my main WAN router, and my old WRT1900ACS as a smart switch, with the ACS as the DHCP server for my main LAN subnet.  I have relay enabled with the server IP being the LAN IP for my ACS.

    I'm not sure how you would go about what you're wanting to do, however configuring it via cli may work for a period of time, but will eventually be erased by an update due to ConfD.  An update could do it tomorrow, a month from now, or a year from now... there's no concrete way of knowing when.  For what it's worth, I customized the OpenVPN config template to my own specifications via cli over a year ago and it still hasn't been overwritten by an update yet. 

    • With that being said, if you're a paid licensee, and require Sophos Support in the future, they will require you to revert your system to a time prior to when you made changes via cli.
