I'm no longer receiving email updates for various actions.

Hello all,

First time poster, long time reader. I noticed when I signed in to my UTM the other day that I hadn't been gotten an email notification about a successful log-in. I think searched my email and noticed I hadn't gotten my weekly report, nor my backup file. I checked all my notification settings and they were exactly as they had been since I installed Sophos last year. Now it has been a few weeks and I still have not been getting any emails.

I searched the forums as thoroughly as I could, but still came up empty handed.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

Did you verify configurations under Management>Notification? .

Capture smtp.log while you login to Web Admin. What do you see in the logs?

Thanks for the prompt reply.

First part: The configurations are as I set them and have not changed.

Second Part: I guess I'll expose my ignorance: how do you capture the smtp.log file? Is this the SMTP Proxy log?

Hi,

Wonderful the magic spared me from hard work :) To capture smtp log; SSH to UTM.

Execute:

cd /var/log

Tail -f smtp.log

All the logs are captured and stored in /var/log directory.
