UTM 9.404-5 on VMware problem

Hi.

I have my utm installed on my IBM server in VMware environment.

the last days the UTM suddelny stops all traffic over WAN randomly.
the solution to get it working is to reboot the UTM VM and things get back to normal. 

Today this has happens 3 times in 6h and getting a little inconvenient.

were in the UTM can i start looking to troubleshoot my problem?

  • this is the graph for the last 8h

    every small spikes is sign of WAN traffic stops and get back again.
    it loks like 5 times that last 6h the traffic have stoped. :(

    That graph makes me think that there's someone in the office downloading from a fast server.  What do you see in Reporting?

    The traffic you see there is site to site ipsec between 2 site syncing files.
    The problem start at 22:00 then it normal 1h then it starts again.
    I had this problem on a astro hw v8 a hvile ago. And it seems like it's back.
    But then the problem started at 00:00 and what I thought was the problem was the email reporting.
    Every time the report was generated it used up system resources and halt traffic to the report was done and resumed normal operation.
    Now I have better hw and should not be a issue this time.

    now i did  bring down the server and all its VMs to see if that helps.

    i hava a 2 h loss of connection that did not solve it sele so i needed a reboot.
    the some of the windows/computers in the network do not report internet loss but trying to access i get timeout.

    the android devices is disconnecting wlan and switch to cell, so they noticing changes.

    now it did i tagain.

    When running hi load over IPSEC over a long time, all services stops and hang.
    UTM is complaining about DNS but that is obvious couse the WAN is down. 

    but the UTM is not reporting it down at all.
    i trided restarting the interface
    disconnect/connect the wan Ethernet
    rebooting fiber->Ethernet converter.

    Nothing helps but rebooting the UTM sort things out.

    Please, need help on this one. :(
