SG230 CPU 99% after Firmware Update

Morning All,

Scheduled the latest firmware update (9.401-11) overnight last night and this morning the CPU is being flogged at a constant 99% utilisation. I have tried rebooting several times but its still sitting at 99%.

Is this happening to anyone else?? Are there any solutions or advice to resolve this?? Any assistance at all would be appreciated ;)

So far end users on site have not reported any issues to me - but I'd like to get it back down to the usual couple of percent ;)

As you can see, CPU usage has been fine since installation (over 12 months ago) and its only been since the new firmware was installed last night/this morning

Cheers

David

  • We have a similar problem with > 50% CPU usage constantly since we upgraded our SG135.

Below is part of our output from the system usage (CPU% is in the 3rd column), I have highlighted the rows with most CPU usage.
I do find the syslog usage togheter with the ps auxwf usage strange.
