Is it possible to force remove IP addresses from the licensed IP list?

I am running UTM 9 home, its been running correctly for a full day now and I just got the alert that I've exceeded my 50 free IP addresses already!  I looked through the DHCP logs and it seems the DHCP server (UTM) is handing out multiple different IP addresses to clients as they connect.  I went through and setup static entries for most of my known clients and even added the MAC addresses for them if they have multiple adapters (such as a laptop which might have a dock with its own Ethernet port, a built in port, and a USB adapter that I use).  I also removed some previous web filtering devices, etc.  But if I'm understanding the documentation correctly, it will be 7 days before the old IP's that were already detected get released.  So is there a way to force a re-check or manually remove old IP's from the list?  I don't have more than 50 devices on my home LAN, so I'm pretty sure I'll be okay going forward once the old items drop off the list.  I'm currently 15 IP's over the limit.  Any tips or  help?

  • I choose to not expose the information fully in a public forum ;)

But you can force a re-count now to start to pull the average down.

Drop to a shell and as root execute:

    count_active_ip

  • Thank you for the information!  I was hoping something like that was an option, however when I try that command it says the command cannot be found.  Do i have to run it from a specific directory or with any type of prefix?

    ****EDITED****

I figured it out, was able to make the system re-scan for IP's which should fix my issue.  Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.  :)
