WebAdmin and SSH freeze after reboot

Hello,

im using Home Licence on two devices build on APU 1D motherboard, one works fine, i can update it, reboot, login back to webadmin, all fine. On second one i have problem after rebooting device. It is working, routing, VPN tunnel connected, all fine, but when i go to WebAdmin then im able to log in, but after log in only left pane is loaded, in pane where should dashboard appear is still "Login to WebAdmin" and SSH is also not working. Device need to be completely turned off from power and then after boot works everything fine.

Anybody knows where can be problem?

Thank you, Vitek

  • Hi Vitek,

    Greetings.

That's a strange behavior and if the SSH is not possible it will be difficult to even investigate the log file.

Can you turn on the SSH access in UTM and again reboot the device to monitor the behavior ? Check if SSH is possible, provide us system.log, kernel.log and fallback.lo to investigate this further.

If you have any questions on how to achieve these logs, please let us know. We can help!

    Thanks

  • Hi Sachin,

i found that problem was not after restart, but before restart, when i clicked Reboot in WebAdmin then router started to shut down services, but unfortunatelly it did not killed all processes and router was still alive but without some services like SSH...until power plug out. I've reinstalled device, it was much more easier as Serial console installation is enabled in 9.4 (GREAT!!!), restored backup and now it is running fine.

  • Hi Vitek,

Wonderful, thanks for making my job easy :)

    Keep posting.

    Thanks
