Apply Web Filtering policy to ip address

Hi

I Have a UTM running Firmware version 9.335-1.

Is it possible to apply a Web filter policy to ip addresses instead of users?

I am trying to allow any user access to YouTube but only on certain computers

    Hi Daljeet,

    Yes you can but it gets a little bit complex if you create many instances of this.

    Above your main transparent/standard web filtering profiles, if you make another web filtering profile but put in the allowed networks only the network group containing the hosts you want to allow or just the individual hosts. Then you can create a filter action policy that only applies to them with all others switched off.

    Profiles are selected for use in order so make sure that the computers you want to allow are above the rules which would cover the whole network else they'll never be hit.
