UTM 100 telling that it's a ASG120, licensing

I bought an UTM 100 with Basic Guard. It is said, that the upstream has a limit of 2 MBit on a UTM100.

When I login into the GUI, the device identify itself with ASG120 and I don't feel that it's limited.

Now I need to renew my license. Do I buy UTM100 license or ASG120 license?

  • That's likely a GUI bug.  The hardware used for the UTM100, 110, and 120 are the same -- the only difference is licensing.  If you don't need more than 2Mb/s upload, then you'd purchase the cheaper UTM100 renewal.  If you want more upload, you'll need to get your license modified and purchase a UTM120 renewal.  Contact your reseller for more details.
