3G / UMTS interface to physical router/modem, for a non-USB, LAN connected modem. Similar to PPPoE for DSL.

Hi, I have purchased a HUAWEI LTE 315 router and was hoping to replace my DSL solution. With the DSL, there is the option to set the UTM to use PPPoE so that all NAT configuration could be done on the UTM and not the DSL modem/router. I would like to do the same with my new LTE router. I only see that it is possible if you use a USB LTE modem, but not a network connected LTE modem/router. Any method to use 3G/UMTS on a LAN connected device? Alternative would be to double NAT? Rgds Brian
