3G / UMTS interface to physical router/modem, for a non-USB, LAN connected modem. Similar to PPPoE for DSL.

I have managed to find a work-around. The Huawei router allows for 1 DMZ IP, which I pointed to the UTM. This DMZ allows all ports to that specific IP. Problem solved, now I'm able to do all NAT addresses on the UTM as I originally wanted.

Hi, question. Which interface did you used in the UTM, would any interface will do?

or you used the UTM DMZ interface? Did you create a static route or NAT in order to pass traffic?

Any interface will work, no need to use DMZ on the UTM (only DMZ on the modem router).

Just treat the interface as a typical WAN. I used static as I wanted to be sure that the UTM gets the correct IP from the modem.

One more thing, I have a little doubt on myself.

My 4G Router's ip add is 172.168.1.1, if i configure the UTM interface, will i use the my 4G ip address as the gateway or no need to mention gateway

Yes, if the UTM is to get it's IP address from the 4G router, you will need to select default gateway.

The standard recommendation here is to put the 4G router into bridge mode, disable its DHCP server, enable the UTM's DHCP for your LAN, set the UTM's External interface to DHCP with a default gateway and then let the UTM have a public IP on its external interface.

Agree with Bob - problem is, not all 4G / LTE routers have bridge mode capability.
