Can the UTM virus scan torrent or newsgroup downloads?

Hello UTM GURUS here...the built in web protection AV scan is wonderful and I am wondering if similar scans can be used for other network traffic such as torrent or newsgroup downloads?

    Torrent scanning would be difficult because the data is transmitted out of order and reassembled on the endpoint. For torrents you would rely mainly on AV software on the endpoint to pick it up. 

    Not sure about newsgroups, I'm guessing No, the UTM relies  a webpage to let you download your file after it has been scanned and newsgroups dont have that option.
