network wide adblocking, looking at pi-hole. Can UTM do this?

This looks pretty awesome, http://pi-hole.net/. Anyone know of a better solution, or If this functionality can be done well in UTM? I don't want to web proxy the traffic, but rather kill it at DNS like this appears to do.

The UTM can block adds, by blocking URLs through the web proxy. You can make a feature request at http://feature.astaro.com.

can web proxy use an online blacklist with tens of thousands of entries, not kill performance, and update automatically?

Not a 3rd party one. That would be another feature request Jason. There is category based blocking. The Web-Ads category has tens of thousands of ad hosters, does not kill performance, and is updated automatically by the two commercial web categorization providers that the UTM uses. Any not caught by those would need to be added manually by URL or domain. See community.sophos.com/.../46207.
