Sophos UTM Email Protection - How to block internal Domains?

Hi

I am trying to block internal domains from outside on sophos utm 310.
Blocking them with blacklisted address patterns works fine, but How can I Add exceptions?

EXAMPLE: I want to block example.com, because its my domain and spammers will use it from outside. -> blacklisted pattern: *@example.com works.
now I have an application that uses user1@example.com, How can i Except user1?

P.S Already tried adding exceptions but doesnt work.

regards,
Farhad

  • Whitelist user1@example.com.

Already tried adding exceptions but doesnt work.

Please click on [Go Advanced] below and attach a picture of the Edit of your Exception.  Also show the lines from the SMTP log where the email from user1 was rejected while your Exception was enabled.

Rather than blacklisting your own domain, you could add SPF and DKIM records.
