UTM vNIC limitations?

Hello,
Is there any limitations on how many vNICs that can be added to virtual UTM? I've added a 5th vNIC and rebooted but the interface doesn't turn up in the UTM GUI. FullGuard Licensed [:S]

doesn't matter....utm requires a reinstall to see new hardware.

yes , that correct if you installed  4 vnic at the time of installation and want 5th nic after installation you cannot reconfigure UTM but some advance virtualization technology allow hot plug-in capitalizes to virtual host and guest i will try this on my kvm later

edit: but this is not issue here max number of supported vnic are differ from os /platform to plaform and/or os to os 

i see 24 vnic support

edit :2 confirm ,when i add another nic to my utm it was able to detect on kvm ubuntu 14.04.3 and i was able to acess that card from gui

I've been in contact with Sophos Support (which we're not entitled to, so they answer really "short"), and according to them, and I quote "In a VMware VM, adding a NIC can be done later after the install, UTM just picks it up after a restart."

But it's still a no go in our case. However, when we were setting up our HA Before the summer, we did add a vNIC post installation without any hassle. That one was configured to use a dedicated physical NIC on the ESX (for heartbeat), instead of binding it to the vSwitch. Not that is should matter imo, though, but worth mentioning. [:@]

Just out of curiosity, are you adding the appropriate network card in VMware. Not all network cards are supported AFAIK.

Yeah, I'm adding the E1000, same as the other four. Thx though.
