SHUTDOWN SG115w

SG115w recently acquired a firewall which brings integrated SSD hard disk.

Everyday electric power cut when we left the Officina, everything is off. sometimes supported by technology are not present.

question:
1. suffer some damage the hard disk if you do not get a firewall turned off by the web portal management?

2. Is there any way to turn on automatically if the answer to the first question is yes?

3. Is there any way to automatically shut it down?

any recommendation I thank you for my case. excuse my first language is Spanish

    Hi, and welcome to the User BB!

    1. No.  No disk damage and no file/configuration damage.

    2. It should come up automatically when power is restored.

    3. If you have it connected via USB to a supported UPS, it will shut itself down.

    Mail to Sophos support with the question, and I responded with the following:

    If UTM turned of due to power outage it may/can cause damage to the hard/data/log disk which is not recommended. 
      ?????

    I'm confused. Might get me out of doubt please.

    I can turn off the SG115W forget every day, knowing that at the end of the afternoon the power is cut.

    and my hard drive will not be damaged by power failure.

    What you do risk is having the configuration and/or reporting databases corrupted.  You may want to invest in a small cheap APC UPS (Back-UPS) to plug the UTM into -- with these, you can plug the USB shutdown signaling cable directly into UTM, and it will at least do a orderly shutdown when the UPS battery runs down.

    And, yes, cutting power on and off to any electronic device constantly will decrease its lifespan (solid-state components, power supply components, etc.) -- how much in your case is unknown; typically server / firewall hardware is designed to run 24/7 with only infrequent interruption.
