I'm just getting started with UTM Home Edition - it's a fantastic product and I'm delighted that Sophos let us have it for free.
I've done some initial playing around, in order to learn the product, and am now about to do the 'proper' install. This is for a home environment but I will be running an Active Directory domain.
Firstly, I understand that I can only connect UTM to the AD so long as I do not disable NTLMv1. Is that correct? Even with the latest version of UTM? That's a bit of a security issue if so.
Secondly, I have my UTM installed on an ESXI host. On that same host, I will be running the AD DC. Is this a good idea? Any considerations, other than startup order?
