Strange issue, but first the information:

Sophos UTM 9 in a ESXi VM enviroment.
I've been playing with Sophos and it seems pretty nice, but I have a very strange problem I can't seem to fix.
From my home network, I'm connecting to an ubuntu server through the sophos VM via SSH. After about a minute, the connection drops. Here is a list of all that I've tried:
- Trying other interfaces on the Sophos UTM
- Tried to the VM when it had an IP on my home network (it worked fine, so not ESXi related)
- Turned off IDS/IPS and Threat protection
- enabled an Any/Any all rule, even after watching the logs and seeing no issues
- Disabled TCP window scaling, just to see.
- Enabled Strict TCP handling
None of the solutions above worked. I also did a packet capture on either end. On the client end, I see me sending SSH packets but getting no response. On the server side I see nothing at all.
Anyone have any ideas on how I can proceed?
