My office is running a Sophos UTM120 with the latest firmware - 9.310-11 and just experienced a major issue with the UTM. For some unknown reason, all external inbound/outbound traffic was halted or being blocked, with only 20K-40K passing through. I actually happened to be on the phone with our high speed Internet provider at the exact moment and they confirmed that the issue was not on their end. I checked the firewall live log and all I saw was red-red-red...haha. After quickly checking things out and having several people yelling about high speed and SIP trunks all being down, I ended up restarting the UTM120, which brought everything back online.
Any ideas on where to start with troubleshooting this?
