root password reset doesn't work

Hi Forum

I'm doomed today. I set up an UTM105w and set a nice, strong admin password. After that i walked back to my desk to finish the setup and start the documentationen. My Laptop crashed while docking into my dock. Unfortunately I hadn't safed the file yet.

So, my Webadmin pass is gone and i tried to reset it with the usual procedure. I boot to the grub menu and reset the passwords from there. The reset of the loginuser works, but not the one of the root. How is that possible? Since the passwd for root doesn't work, theres no "cc" command and no password reset. And because it's sunday today, Sophos Support is closed as well.

The Version is the lastest available today. 9.3016 or something alike.
Any Ideas?

Just another update:
- When i logout with the loginuser, the passwd doesn't work anymore. I have to go to grub to make it work again.

I think, i'll reinstall with the stick. [:(]

This thread can be closed and deleted. I used the SSI Image to reinstall the device.
