Online backup error

Hi,
Hope someone can help me with this issue.

I have a online backup on my domain and i cant connect to the online server with the software.
They sent me the ports i need to open and i added them to the firewall but im still getting an error connecting.
Do i need to add a DNat or SNat rule or something else? I cant work out why its so hard to just open a few ports into my domain network.

Hi,
Thanks for the screenshot.

Can you enable logging in all the rules?

Then you can see if traffic passes in the Firewall Live Log, and also see if it's being blocked :-)

I tried all the ports in the article exactly as the post says creating dnat rules for them all but still cant connect.. damn.
2774 - Command Port, Inbound

2773 - Portal SMTP Port, Outbound

2772 - Server Sync Port, Bidirectional

80 - HTTP port for the Server's Web Console, Inbound

29001 - 20100 - Data Ports, Inbound

3495 - Server Locator, Outbound

Not sure what to do now.

I have an issue with this product. The fact that they require so many ports bothers me. Frankly i would highly advise something like Idrive which is much easier to configure. they simply use https for their file transfers and is pre-encrypted to boot. Since nearly everyone allows https you do not have to setup something as complicated as the other product. Might want to consider using another product.
