Blocking youtube

I added youtube.com and *.youtube.com to the default filter action under blocked sites. When I use Internet Explorer the site is blocked, but when I use Chrome it is not blocked. Any ideas why this would still work with Chrome?

A few questions.

Are you using transparent mode or standard? If standard, when you check the settings in chrome, is the proxy set?

Look in the full web filtering log when a client system tries to get to youtube using chrome. Any difference in the url from IE that you see?

To block something that uses different URLs and CDNs use application control, saves you having to keep up with all thew changes
