I'm struggling with a strange problem for two weeks now and don't manage to find a solution.
I have two internal interfaces, configured the same way. When I run the Windows update on one client computer, it is working smooth through one interface, but not through another. The strangest thing is, that on problematic interface, the traffic is going to some point, but then stops. It si the same, when I run the Symantec Endpoint protection Updates. The client connects to Symantec server, transfers the first package and then stops.
As I said, both interfaces are configured the same way. They are not proxied, as I don't want to allow browsing. There are the same FW rules (alow http and https connections to Microsoft and Symantec update servers), the same NAT rules, just everything the same. One is working fine, and the other is not.
Any ideas? Am I missing something?
