Ghost traffic

Hi all, i have a question about a mystic ghost traffic. At home i have a Sophos UTM in a PC, and i have recently set it up so it has been running for a week totally. Its working perfect, but, in my log i can see traffic from 2 computers that does not belong here, the IP and MAC belongs to my Macbook pro that i have at my office, in a different area an another LAN. So in my log i have an ip assinged from my DHCP to my MBP, but the computer have not been in my home for several months so it should not know about it, it also have a leasing date that has not occured yet, all the others dates is ok to the computers that are in fact on my LAN here at home. The other weird thing is that my IP from my office on the same MBP 10.2.206.17 is in my traffic log, so weird. The only thing in common for my PC and MBP is that they share dropbox account, and my Ipad share the same Appstore/Icloud but thats it.

But why can my UTM see this? Does the amount of traffic exist? It does not really matter but i am curios.

    Hi, can you upload a network diagram with both networks?

    Hit 'Go Advanced' when posting to upload images.

    Re the lease date; make sure the clock is correct in the UTM.

    Hi BarryG, im sorry my brain must have been somewhere else when i looked at the log, the answer is that i did set up my fw initially at my office using my MBP and that was before i corrected my time and date and then took it home. What can i say, much to do at work ;-) Tnx for your answer.
