Hi all,
Forgive me if this is an old question, I am a complete noob with UTMs, where I work we have UTM 425s at two sites, plus RED boxes at satellite offices.
Between the two main sites, one being HQ which has quite a few VLANs, is a LES circuit, the default gateway for VLANs at the smaller site is a routed VLAN back to HQ, over the LES link where the gateway of last resort then becomes the UTM there, there is now a router and UTMs at the second site, but at the moment traffic is still routing through HQ.
Is it possible to configure a VPN between the two sites using the UTMs that could act as a redundant link between them that could be used if the LES circuit fails, or if an external connection at one of the sites fails.
So if the external connection at HQ fails could I route traffic out through the second site via a VPN between the UTMs.
Thanks in advance for looking and offering advice/suggestions.
Regards
